Our Business nav.i.ga.tor - one who directs the course by act of skill Why Navigator? Because raising capital is intricate work.

Navigator Capital Advisors, LLC has two components:

s
  • "Navigator Capital" which assists public companies in raising capital--typically PIPE transactions, and
  • "Navigator CFO," which provides high-level CFO services to small companies at an affordable price

Small public companies typically raise growth capital in a PIPE (Private Investment in Public Equity) transaction. These transactions are fraught with pitfalls, are often highly dilutive, and can put the company at risk if structured improperly.

By partnering with Navigator Capital, companies can avoid many of the pitfalls and be positioned to close transactions faster and with less effort than would otherwise be the case. In addition, our unique approach effectively reduces the overall transaction cost, which may
result in a savings of as much as 15% to 20% of the amount raised.

Navigator Capital is not a "finder," and does not replace the role of the investment banker. Rather, we complement the banker's role by performing tasks which the banker does not offer: assisting in the selection of the banker, managing the process for the company, and analyzing the terms of a proposed transaction using a data base of recent transactions.

Navigator CFO provides high-level CFO services to small companies which, historically, they have been unable to afford. These services include providing strategic advice, financial planning, analyses of operations and key decisions, and leadership in relationships with investors, lenders, board members, customers and suppliers, auditors, lawyers, and government officials. Because these services are offered on a regular, but part-time basis, they are affordable to a wide spectrum of companies.
